How to buy tickets for Yomiuri Giants home games at Tokyo Dome
🐯 How to Get Tickets for Hanshin Games at Tokyo Dome
Koshien tickets for Hanshin Tigers games?
They’re absolutely insane. On February 25th, the very first day of ticket sales, every ticket for the entire year—yep, all of them—sells out within just a few hours. Seriously. Getting into Koshien is like trying to win the lottery.
But here’s the thing:
When Hanshin plays against our most hated rivals—the team in that cursed shade of orange, the Yomiuri Giants—at their home stadium, Tokyo Dome, tickets go on sale about two months before each game.
That means… even if you totally missed out on the entire 2025 season at Koshien, you still have a chance to witness a legendary “Clash of the Titans” in Tokyo Dome, right in the heart of the city (just like Jingu Stadium, home of the Swallows)!
Sure, technically Hanshin is the away team. But let’s be honest—we’re gonna take over their turf anyway. 😤💛
So! Here’s a full guide on how to get tickets for Hanshin games at Tokyo Dome!
First things first:
Let’s talk about the Giants’ website.
Yeah… it’s not great.
Compared to Hanshin’s site? Oh no no no—don’t even go there. Hanshin’s website looks like it was built during the Windows 95 era (okay, maybe not that bad… but still, oof 😂). Tradition, right? Oh wait—Yomiuri’s technically one year older. Whatever. Details.
Anyway, to get to the ticket purchase page, click here.
Then you’ll see a calendar pop up like this.
But—plot twist—clicking on the calendar doesn’t do anything. 🙃
Classic Yomiuri. And that weird rabbit mascot of theirs, Giabbit… ugh.
Instead, scroll down a bit further.
Eventually, near the bottom of the browser, you’ll find a small link that actually takes you to the ticketing page.
Seriously, Yomiuri. Can we not? 😮💨 lol
So yeah—let’s treat that calendar as just a schedule viewer (you can check all Hanshin games much more easily on the TORA-NEKO site anyway 🐾), and go straight to the actual ticketing page.
As I said before, tickets usually go on sale around two months before each game.
But here’s the thing: For Hanshin games, they often sell out within just a few hours of the release.
So if there’s a game you really want to see, you’ll definitely want to track the release schedule. (Don’t worry, we post alerts on TORA-NEKO too!)
Now then—let’s say you scroll through the list and look for Hanshin games.
Huh? Already sold out again?
Yeah… welcome to the madness.
Hanshin vs. Yomiuri at Tokyo Dome is like Japan’s version of Game 7 of the World Series, and the ticket war happens every. single. time.
But that’s what makes the battlefield of cheering fans so thrilling!
If the tickets are sold out, the site won’t even let you check the seating chart or purchase options anymore—so here’s where we do a little homework in advance!
🧠 Pro Tip: Watch Out for This Trap!
Let’s say you’re lucky and it’s still available.
On the calendar, you’ll see a day highlighted in blue—that means tickets are still on sale!
But wait… there are only two ticket types showing for that day?
You might think,
“Oh, the rest must be sold out.”
And then just give up.
DON’T. GIVE. UP.
Look closely.
There’s this tiny little text that says “View More Events.”
And guess what? When you click it—ta-da!
A new ticket option appears in a pop-up window.
Sometimes, those extra ticket types are still available, even when everything else looks gone!
Nice try, Giabbit.
We’re onto your tricks. 😏🐰💢
🎟️ How to Buy Tickets – Once You’re In!
Okay! Once you click that beautiful blue “Reserve Tickets” button,
you’ll be taken to the purchase screen.
🪑 First, pick your seat type!
We’ll go over the different seating areas in a moment,
but just one heads-up now: Reserved Seat C is the only one with different prices for adults and kids.
If you’re a student between age 6 and 18, you can get a ticket for less than half-price! Lucky you!
And kids under 5? You’re good to go without a ticket, as long as you’re sitting with an adult. 🎉
🔢 Next, select the number of tickets.
You can choose the seat type (area),
but you can’t pick the exact row or seat number.
Yeah… kind of a bummer, but we’ll live with it 😅
💳 Now, let’s talk about the payment.
Your best bet is:
Credit Card + Barcode Ticket (QR Code)
Super easy, no need to print anything, just show your phone at the gate.
You won’t get a fancy paper ticket as a keepsake, but hey—Tokyo Dome has tons of merch to make up for it!
The other options?
They require you to go to a Seven-Eleven convenience store to print your ticket.
And honestly… that system is kinda confusing,
plus the store clerks usually have no idea how to help you 😓
So unless you love chaotic side quests, maybe skip that.
✅ Once your payment’s done…
You’re all set! Time to march into the heart of enemy territory and shout down the Army of Orange! 🧡❌🐯
And if you’re wondering about how to actually get to Tokyo Dome,
how to dodge the crowds, or what cool stuff is nearby—
don’t worry! TORA-NEKO, your loyal scout team,
is at Tokyo Dome for 10+ games a year,
and we’ve got a whole guide just for that!
🏟️ Tokyo Dome Seating — What’s What?
Compared to other stadiums, Tokyo Dome’s seating is actually pretty simple!
Let’s break it down TORANEKO-style 🐾
🟨 1st Floor (Lower Level – Infield)
Orange Seat = DO. NOT. ENTER. 🚨
That’s the zone only for Giants fans.
Accidentally wander in with your Hanshin towel and you might be converted into a Giabitt cultist and forced to wave an orange towel forever…😱
Reserved S, A, B = Standard infield seating.
These are solid choices, especially on the 3rd-base side (Hanshin fans!)

🟩 2nd Floor (Balcony Infield)
Best of all, you can see the outfield cheering battles and the infamous “38th Parallel” line perfectly from here.
Reserved FC Center & Reserved FC
These seats jut out over the lower level, so they’re surprisingly close and very clear views of the field!
Reserved D
Similar height, but shifted closer to the outfield.
🟦 2nd Floor (Upper Level – More Budget-Friendly!)
Many fans who missed out on outfield cheering seats (which are nearly impossible to get unless you’re ultra-lucky) spill over here.
Reserved C
Super affordable, especially for students!
But fair warning: it’s pretty high up, so you might feel a bit distant from the field.
Reserved D
Similar height, but shifted closer to the outfield.
🐯 Tokyo Dome Seating — Who’s Sitting Where?
So you might think,
“Third-base side = Hanshin fans, right?”
And… you’d mostly be correct.
But don’t underestimate the home-field sneakiness of the Giants (yes, that’s sarcasm 🙃).
Even on the 3rd-base side, the sections closer to 1st base—Reserved S and Reserved A—are weirdly… calm. Like, not much cheering going on.
Just casual fans who came to see a game, not a war.
We’re talking about 40% of Reserved S and about 30% of Reserved A being filled with neutral or Giants fans.
Still, if you stick to the outer part of the 3rd-base side, closer to the outfield (Reserved B), the ratio shifts big time.
There, it’s basically Hanshin : Giants = 3 : 1, and the closer to the outfield, the yellower the stands become. 💛
Want even more of a yellow wave?
Head upstairs! ⬆️
In the 2nd-floor sections on the 3rd-base side—Reserved FC, Reserved C, and Reserved D—it’s even more Tigerific. 🐯💥
The crowd there is like 80% Hanshin fans, and you can scream, chant, and cheer your heart out with no worries at all. 🎉📣🔥
Now, about the 1st-base side on the lower level…
Yeah, that’s Giants territory for sure.
You’ll spot a Hanshin fan here and there, but honestly? Maybe 20% at best.
Still, the only place where Hanshin cheering is strictly forbidden is the Orange Seat. So technically, even if you’re on the 1st-base side, you can support Hanshin—just not in that dreaded orange zone.
If you can’t snag one of the super-competitive 3rd-base seats (they vanish in seconds),
but you really want to watch from a lower-level seat close to the field,
the 1st-base side might still be an okay plan. Just don’t go waving your towel too dramatically unless you’re feeling brave. 😅
💥 And whatever you do—DO NOT wander into the Orange Seat zone.
It’s a one-way ticket to Giabitt cult initiation. You’ve been warned. 😂🍊
🎌 Outfield Showdown — Left Field Edition!
Next up: the outfield seats.
Since the Giants’ home side is 1st base, the right field stands (Outfield Reserved Right) are for Giants fans only.
We’ll just… leave them to it. 😇
Now, over on our side—Left Field, the sacred ground for Hanshin fans.
Buuut… out of the 10 blocks in Left Field, 6 whole blocks are reserved for Giants fans too.
(Outfield Reserved Left — Giants Booster)
Seriously, how much space does Jabitt need?! 🙄
So what’s left for Hanshin fans?
Just Outfield Reserved (Left)—and this isn’t our home base blocks (F01–F03).
Nope, this is Block F04, aka…
✨ “The 38th Parallel Zone” ✨
A designated neutral zone between the two cheering sections.
Technically, fans from either team can sit there…
But let’s be real—Hanshin fans totally dominate this block.
So yes, you can cheer, shout, sing, and wave your towels loud and proud! 💛🐯🔥
So wait—where can you get seats in the Hanshin heartland blocks, F01–F03?
Only from the Japanese version of the ticket site.
Yup. Not kidding.
Guess Yomiuri’s really scared of us.
Scared we’ll take over Tokyo Dome and the internet. 😏
No worries. TORA-NEKO will spread the word to the world. You’re welcome, Giabitt. 😂
One Last Thing — and a Message for Giabitt.
Oh Yomiuri…
What, are you that afraid of Hanshin fans?
Afraid the world might find out just how powerful we are?
Well then—TORA-NEKO shall spread the word far and wide. 😎🎤🐯
Even on the Japanese site, those precious F01–F03 seats sell out within minutes of release.
It’s a fan-to-fan war every time.
(We actually wrote a whole other guide about how to enter that battle—if you’re curious, check it out!)
Anyway!
That wraps up all the seating types available from the English site.
As for what you can’t get unless you use the Japanese site:
- 🟨 Outfield Blocks F01–F03 (Hanshin fan HQ, Left Field)
- 🟦 Visitor Infield Cheering Section (the direct opposite of the Orange Seat)
That second one?
It’s tiny—like, really tiny.
And it’s reserved exclusively for Hanshin fans.
Even we at TORA-NEKO are only able to grab seats there once every few years, if we’re lucky.
But don’t worry.
You can still get tickets for most of the key cheering zones through the English site.
So we’ll let it slide… this time, Giabitt.
Now go sit in the corner and finish your apology letter.
When you’re done—you may return to the Dome. 😂📄🐰
🏆 Lili’s Recommended Seats — for Hanshin Fans Roaring in Enemy Territory 🐯🔥
(※F01〜F03 and “Visitor Cheering Seats” are excluded, since they’re not sold via the English site.)
🥇 1st Place: Reserved B (3rd-base side) > A > S
Either way, the roar of the Tigers’ fans is real here.
These are closest to the left field stands, where Hanshin’s cheering squad goes wild!
If you want to stand and cheer together: pick closer to B.
If you prefer to just watch the game while soaking in the chant energy: choose closer to S.
🥈 2nd Place: Reserved FC (3rd-base side) > FC Center (as far left as possible)
It’s easier to get in and out of your seat too!
TORANEKO is often found here if they can’t snag an outfield ticket! 🐾
First-row balcony (2nd floor) = excellent view of the whole field!
You can clearly see both cheering sections and the “38th Parallel” where Hanshin and Yomiuri fans collide.
🥉 3rd Place: Reserved C (preferably 3rd-base side) > Reserved D
If 3rd-base side is sold out?
Don’t worry — center or 1st-base side can still be okay.
(You’ll probably hear TORANEKO’s screams from there anyway. 😂)
These are upper-level seats. It feels more distant, but… the acoustics funnel all the cheering sound right into your soul!
Even if there are more Yomiuri fans around, you’ll still be facing the Hanshin cheering section.
🐾 4th Place: Reserved S (1st-base side) > A
But hey — the view of the Hanshin outfield cheering section is direct and intense!
And… no stairs to climb like in the 2nd floor seats! 🎉
These are closer to the Giants’ dugout — so yep, mostly Yomiuri fans here.
You might feel like a 🐯 in a den of 🧡… Hanshin fans make up maybe 20% in these sections.
🎁 Bonus Round? Not Yet… Stay Tuned!
So that’s it for this guide on how to get Hanshin Tigers tickets at Tokyo Dome…
But wait!
What if you’re visiting Japan from overseas, and the idea of tickets going on sale just two months in advance feels like a total gamble?
What if you need to know you have a seat locked in way ahead of time?
Well guess what? 🎉
Even for the high-demand Hanshin games, there’s a secret method — a magical trick to guarantee your seat. 🧙♂️✨
And no, it’s not on the Japanese site.
In fact, most fans don’t even know it exists.
Curious? Of course you are. 😏
